HOW THIS SITE WORKS

AFU is a dynamic system; details about it change almost weekly. As a result, static guides are of little value -they cannot be accurate or thorough for longer than a few weeks.

The best way we've found so far to stay up-to-date on changes is, unfortunately, via Facebook.

This site links to the relevant posts there.

Read a post, and then preferably all the comments on it. (At minimum, read the post and then the most recent comment, as it might link to a major update.)

This webpage exists only to provide links to key posts. To see these posts, you must be:

• the personal guardian of the AFU-supported child, and

• a member of the Facebook group linked to on this website's other pages, and

• logged in to Facebook.

Anytime you are 'mentioned' or 'tagged' in the group, someone has gone out of their way to connect you with vital info, or is requesting your help. Please be sure to acknowledge every instance of this (click 'like' or reply with a couple of words).
